Western Caribbean Cruise

As I write this, I am sitting in the airport waiting on our flight. Jet blue is running about 20 minutes late but they are really trying to keep everyone informed.

Disembarking the ship was quite pleasant. We met our group in the Ocean Liners Restaurant for a continental breakfast, then waited until the ship was cleared. Once cleared, we left the ship found our luggage and in about 15 minutes had cleared customs and were in the cab headed to the airport.

I can’t say we are excited by returning to winter, but it will be nice to see our boys again and sleep in our own bed.

Well we have made it home. The flight was uneventful and all out luggage arrived intact. It is good to be home but the trip was fantastic. From scuba diving, visiting Mayan ruins, nature walks through the rain forest, to formal events and ball room dancing on the ship. It was an exciting and fun filled two weeks.

And what a difference two weeks made in Washington. The photo at the top was our home the day before we left. It was 14 degrees, with 6 inches of ice on the ground. Now it is sunny, warm enough for short sleeve shirts and supposed to be a nice weekend. Much better than the weather we left here and an easier transition from the Caribbean.

I want to get this posted. Then later tonight or this weekend I will post the remaining pictures of our ports.

Now we just have to plan our next one.

Cheers.
